Parent Orientation: ELAC & SSC
Dear Jaime Escalante Elementary Families,
You are invited to our Parent Orientation for ELAC and SSC! This orientation is an opportunity for parents and guardians to learn more about these important school councils and how they help support our students and school community.
During the orientation, families will learn about:
ELAC (English Learner Advisory Committee): Its purpose, responsibilities, and how parents can help support the success of English Learners.
SSC (School Site Council): Its purpose and role in reviewing school programs, student needs, and the use of school funds.
How parents can participate in school decision-making and share their ideas, questions, and recommendations.
Opportunities to become an active voice in supporting the academic success and well-being of all students.
Your voice matters! We encourage all parents and guardians to attend, learn about these councils, and discover how you can become involved in our school community.
