Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 LAUSD Title I Parent and Family Engagement Policy The District will involve parents in the joint development of LAUSD’s LocalEducational Agency (LEA) Plan through the Title I Parent Study Groups and theTitle I Focus Group. Recommendations from parents about the Local EducationalAgency Plan will be published annually.The District will issue the following directives, tools, and trainings to ensureschools have the necessary information they need to effectively engage andcommunicate with parents in the plan writing process associated with schoolsupport and improvement.
